SIFF Interview – Roger Ross Williams – Life, Animated

Spencer interviews director Roger Ross Williams from the documentary Life, Animated at SIFF 2016.

The discussion touches upon the origin of the project, Ron Suskind‘s background as a writer and previous relationship with Roger, the generosity and vulnerability of the Suskind family in making this project possible, working with Disney to access their archives of material and the challenges in remaining objective when your subject might be in danger.

This interview goes into a lot of detail about the project and the Suskind family so if you are worried about spoilers (as much as they can exist in a documentary like this) then it might be best to watch this discussion after viewing the film.
