Spencer and Greg Upton (formerly of the Backroom Comics Podcast) take a look at the latest chapter in the X-Men saga, X-Men: Apocalypse, from director Bryan Singer and starring James McAvoy & Michael Fassbender.

In addition to doing an in-depth review of X-Men: Apocalypse, they take a look at the films place in the history of the X-Men universe and how it stacks up to the other comic movies that have already come out this year (DeadpoolBatman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeCaptain America: Civil War).

Spencer was born and raised in New Mexico. He grew up with the many great films of the 1980’s before having his world rocked after seeing The Usual Suspects. He moved to Washington State to go to the University of Washington, and currently any free time he currently has is split between working on film projects and watching films.
