Interview – Rob Minkoff – Mr. Peabody & Sherman

The MacGuffin had the pleasure of being a part of a roundtable interview in Dallas with Mr. Peabody & Sherman director, Rob Minkoff.  Does that name sound familiar?  He was also the director of the legendary Disney animated film The Lion King.

Minkoff talks about the legacy of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, why this was the right time to do a film version of a classic cartoon, the process and years it took to make it to the big screen, the voice cast, and if he misses classic, hand-drawn animation.

Mr. Peabody & Sherman is in theaters March 7, 2014. This interview is also available as audio-only.
