Spencer and John dissect the career of director Adam McKay in advance of the release of his latest film The Other Guys, next they discuss the phenomenon of 3D sequels, and finally they close out the show by giving their DVD picks of the week.
For his DVD pick of the week, John selected the release of Roger Corman’s horror classic, Piranha (DVD/Blu-ray). Going a different direction, Spencer chose the blu-ray release of Sam Mendes’ comic adaptation, Road to Perdition.
Finally, since we discuss Step Up 3D in this episode, I present MacGuffin columnist Allen Almachar‘s Step Up 3D audition tape. As you can see, he is more then just a writer.
This episode is available on iTunes and Zune. Additionally, we have a RSS feed and it is available on Miro.
Spencer was born and raised in New Mexico. He grew up with the many great films of the 1980’s before having his world rocked after seeing The Usual Suspects. He moved to Washington State to go to the University of Washington, and currently any free time he currently has is split between working on film projects and watching films.
