Episode 6 – Filmmakers Of The World Unite

Spencer is joined by guest host Tristan Renteria, filmmaker and organizer of the Seattle International Latino Film Festival. The episode opens with an exploration of the life of independent filmmakers. Next they transition to a discussion about what makes a film successful cinematically. Finally they conclude with Tristan sharing his guilty pleasure films.

Spencer was born and raised in New Mexico. He grew up with the many great films of the 1980’s before having his world rocked after seeing The Usual Suspects. He moved to Washington State to go to the University of Washington, and currently any free time he currently has is split between working on film projects and watching films.
